This training course is to allow any Counsellor/Psychotherapist to be aware of how to work for EAPs and other organisations such as Private Insurance Companies and Charities on a self-employed or Affiliate basis.

This course will give the participants tips on who to work for at their level and the practical knowledge they need to work and protect themselves legally.

The aim is to ensure attendees understand the legal terms and conditions under which they will be working to avoid the possible pitfalls and be aware of the possible penalties; understand the types of clients they could be working with; and the intervention/style required to successfully work on a short-term basis.

Presenter - Hazel Allan

I am a Counsellor and Trainer with over 12 years counselling experience in many different settings and client groups; an experienced lecturer in Counselling, Listening Skills and Communication, and English; coupled with 25 years working with contractual terms. In this course I mix my commercial experience with my counselling experience to ensure other Counsellors/Psychotherapists are working from a full knowledge of the legal and practical environment in which EAPs, Private Insurance Companies and other Organisations require their employees to work under.

All counsellors looking to work for other organisations on a self-employed basis.
